Terms
Arrival / Departure: Arrival time is 3pm and the property should be vacated by 10am. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless alternative arrangements have been agreed. The Hirer shall vacate the hired premises without demand at the termination of the period of hire.
The property must be left clean and tidy.
A deposit of £50.00 per week should be sent as soon as booking is confirmed. This is normally not refundable.
Balance is due six weeks before start of holiday. If less than six weeks at time of booking, full remittance should be sent.
Cancellation: please advise immediately. Where cancellation is made six weeks or less before holiday start, you will be liable for the full holiday cost. If re-let, all payments will be refunded less any administration costs.
The Hirer shall undertake to prevent any members of his or her party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring residents or property.
Smoking is NOT permitted in any part of the house.
Sorry, no pets allowed.
Breakages, loss or damage to the property or contents must be reported before the end of the holiday. This allows us to have replacements ready for other guests. (In most cases no payment is charged)
Unsuitable hirers: – the owners reserve the right to refuse to hand over holiday accommodation to any persons who, in their opinion, are unsuitable to take charge. In such a case payment will be refunded in full, less costs.
A fee of £20 will be charged for lost or non – return of keys.
The number of guests must not exceed FOUR unless previously agreed with the owners.
We respectfully ask guests to re-cycle waste in line with the Highlands Council’s regulations and to ensure the correct coloured bin is used (details available in the cottage) and to arrange for the correct coloured waste bin to be placed in the collection area for weekly collection – as per the schedule on display in the cottage and then retrieve the bin after it has been emptied.
The Hirer shall not sub-let the premises or any part thereof.
No cycles are allowed in any part of the cottage.
Any furniture moved during your stay MUST be returned to the position it was in on your arrival.
All electrical appliancies (except Fridge/Freezer) MUST be switched off and all lights extinguished (including TV Stand-by and Christmas tree lights where appropriate), before leaving the cottage.
The Owners or their agents reserve the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purpose of inspection or to carry out repairs and maintenance.
In the unlikely event the owners need to cancel a booking, a full refund will be given for any monies paid. However, the owners cannot accept liability for any consequential losses as a result such as travel costs incurred etc.
